The agent of Nico Williams has warned Athletic Bilbao over his contract status.

The Spain striker's current deal runs to the end of this season and he is being linked with Barcelona.

"There is no definitive offer from the club or the player, there would be more to go, in any case it would be the other way around, which is not the case either, that the one who has to decide the future is the player," said Félix Tainta to El Correo.

"The club knows what the player's approach is, what he wants. It must listen to the player and must try to reach an agreement that is good for both parties, always assuming that the contract ends in a few months.
