Marcos Alonso is edging closer to leaving Chelsea for Barcelona.

Mundo Deportivo says the Spaniard's agent Fali Ramadani travelled to London this week in order to speed up transfer talks.

The 31-year-old is expected to join Barcelona this summer, along with teammate Andreas Christensen and, potentially, captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

Alonso moved to the Blues in 2016, and has gone on to make more than 200 appearances for the London club.
