Agent Igor Korneev admits holding talks with Chelsea over the sale of Dynamo Moscow winger Arsen Zakharyan.

Korneev, a former AS Monaco director, admits he tried to find a move for Zakharyan over the summer.

He told Sport-Express: "I had two Italian clubs, one of them is top, which were interested in Zakharyan. But they acted too slowly.

"After Arsen signed a new contract with Dynamo, I offered him to Chelsea. They began to follow him, but the transfer did not take place for known reasons."

Financial sanctions against Russia saw a move to Chelsea fall through.
