The agent of Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque says he will join Barcelona in January.

Roque was signed by Barca earlier this year and loaned back to Athletico.

At 18, the striker is viewed at Barca as Robert Lewandowski's long-term successor.

Agent Andre Cury confirmed: "The idea of the player and Barça is that it comes in January, it is all agreed with the Paranaense."

Roque was injured last month, suffering ankle ligament damage after a rogue tackle.

Cury added: "Vitor is recovering very well. We believe that in four weeks, at most, he can be ready."
