The agent of Paul Pogba says the Juventus midfielder struggled to accept his World Cup absence.

A knee injury forced Pogba out of France's squad.

Rafaela Pimenta told Rai: "When Paul realised he couldn't participate in the World Cup, he had a really difficult time.

"It was very bad, then he realised he couldn't stop thinking missing the World Cup because he is a Juventus player and has to think about his club.

"How are relations with Juventus? For my part, there has always been a lot of clarity, I hope that things can continue to go as well as they always have."
