The agent of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah insists it's too soon to suggest he will play for Egypt at this year's Tokyo Olympics.

It was strongly suggested on Wednesday that Salah's inclusion as one of three overage players in Egypt's under-23 squad was a formality, with coach Shawky Gharib saying that the federation had "settled on" calling up the country's star man.

But agent Ramy Abbas Issa has joined the discussion on Twitter, quote tweeting a Liverpool fan site's report of the claims and simply stating "No decision has been made yet".
