Former Villarreal defender Cesar Arzo is full of praise for Lille stopper Leny Yoro.
Arzo is now part of Yoro's management team and acts as a tactical analyst for a player who is a summer target for Real Madrid.
"He is a very strong, fast and, above all, intelligent player. Even so, I think he has a lot of room for improvement. He has an incredible projection," Arzo told Marca.
"Yoro, saving height, is very similar to Varane. He also has that strength and that top speed that he shows in every game. Technically he has very good movement: he finds players with higher echelons and lines. Furthermore, he does not lose duels.
"It may be creating too many expectations, but he has certain similarities, in terms of physiognomy and physical power, with Van Dijk."
On the interest of Real Madrid, Arzo added: "He is playing in Ligue 1, which is a very demanding competition. In addition, he has a coach [Paulo Fonseca] who plays positional football very similar to the Spanish one. Furthermore, he has a great projection. He goes with the under 21... but he is one step away from the senior (France) team.
"It is logical and normal that they go for him because he is attracting a lot of attention."
