Adelaide United have clearly lost some of their old confidence after an indifferent start to the season.
The Reds have taken just four points from their first four outings and coach Aurelio Vidmar will settle for a draw against the Wellington Phoenix this weekend.
Last season's runners-up are desperately trying to get their season back on track but Vidmar is taking a cautious approach to this weekend's away clash.
"With every game at home you want to try and get on the front foot and I don't think they'll be any different," Vidmar said.
"Probably at this point we'll probably be happy to settle for a draw but we are still going out there with the same mentality that we've had since day dot, which is going there and trying to win.
"We've had a really good week on the training track and the mood has been very good, so that's important, and we just probably need that little bit of luck to get another win on the board and then move forward."
The Reds will be without key centre-half Robert Cornthwaite who has a two-game suspension after being chrged with alleged assault at an Adelaide nightclub whilst captain Travis Dodd, full-back Cassio and midfielders Kristian Sarkies and Fabien Barbiero are all still unavailable.
