Adelaide United winger Cassio is set to join Korean club Seongnam Ilhwa.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to join former Reds teammate Sasa Ognenovski in South Korea which will end a three-season stint at the A-League club.

30-year old Cassio joined Adelaide at the beginning of the 2007/08 season in which he won the Club Champion award and has been a key member of Adelaide squads that have competed in the Asian Champions League.

Sources suggest that a deal is imminent which will see him join his ninth club after stints with Flamengo, Internacional, Olimpia, New England Revolution, Ceara, Brasiliense and Santa Cruz.
