Acerbi and Dumfries delighted as Inter Milan win at Viktoria Plzen

Francesco Acerbi was delighted after a winning Inter Milan debut at Champions League opponents Viktora Plzen.

Inter won 2-0 as Edin Dzeko one and created the other for Denzel Dumfries. Viktoria also had Pavel Bucha sent off.

Debutant Acerbi said: "I am not exactly shy and all my team-mates have accepted me very well. I did not come here for the sake of appearances. I must play as if I had been here for a long time. The main concern today was stamina after three months without playing, but it went well."

Dumfries also remarked at the final whistle: "I think we did well tonight, we were very patient. We played a good game against difficult opponents and we hope to continue in this manner. I dedicate my goal to my team-mates. I'm happy to have scored and I think we did a good job tonight. We are getting back to our best."
