Accrington defender Davies tells Hull to expect tough cup encounter

Accrington Stanley defender Tom Davies has warned Hull City to expect a tough match in the Capital One Cup tie on Tuesday night.

The two clubs, separated by 54 League places, will face off in the League Cup round one tie at the Crown Ground but Davies has forecast that the Tigers will be given a difficult time League Two outfit.

"They're going to be a good team but we're a good team and I see no reason why we can't beat them," said Davies.

"It seems to be the way that Accrington are under-estimated.

"We showed against Luton (in Saturday's 1-1 League Two draw) that we are no pushovers, we should have had three points and we think we'll do all right this season. Anyone who comes here will get a good game and Hull will find it no different."
