Mario Yepes insists he can make an impact at AC Milan.
The 34 year-old defender has arrived on a Bosman from Chievo Verona.
The Colombia international insists: "Milan needed a reinforcement in defence. I can put my experience at the service of the team.
"Age counts for little. Those who have followed me know how much I can do on the pitch.
"I have played more than 60 games in Serie A in two years and I had very few injuries.
"Chievo wanted to keep me, several clubs had already come looking for me, but when Milan called I had no doubts: it's the maximum that I could wish for, the crowning achievement of my career.
"I am a great worker, a humble professional and I have a strong spirit of sacrifice."
