AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud was pleased with his double in victory over RB Salzburg.

Milan reached the Champions League round of 16 with this 4-0 win.

Giroud said, “We stay humble, we will enjoy ourselves now and then see what comes from the draw. It was fantastic in front of our fans, I wanted to score, I hadn't for some time and it was good for my confidence.

“I am proud of our performance. I still feel young and willing to improve."

Milan defender Fikayo Tomori also said: “Obviously we're happy, it was our goal to progress so we're happy. We try to score many goals and not concede every game, it's easier said than done but we managed in the last two games in the Champions League."
