AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni says coach Stefano Pioli retains his full support.

Scaroni is delighted with the Rossonero's performance so far this season.

“We must continue supporting not just the coach, but also the staff and the squad, especially during a period where I read some frankly exaggerated criticism," Scaroni told MilanNews.it.

“We need to remain united and work with a positive spirit. After all, with 10 rounds gone in the Serie A season and a fixture list that everyone judged to be very tough, we still amassed 22 points and remain in the top positions.

“I am accustomed to judging the work of a coach at the end of the season and want to remind everyone that the performance of Milan in recent years, with Stefano Pioli as the protagonist, has given great satisfaction to our fans."

Asked about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's return, Scaroni added: “At the moment there is nothing new to report. We have shown him great respect and affection, it is always a pleasure to meet up with Ibrahimovic again. Time will tell."
