AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has set Pippo Inzaghi a Europa League target to keep his job.
Tuttosport says Berlusconi will confirm Inzaghi for next season if they qualify for the Europe's second tier competition.
Berlusconi is very close to Inzaghi and there is a fear that no matter what happens, the coach will leave if they fail to finish inside the top five. Indeed, there's a feeling that Inzaghi will quit if the team fails to improve under him for the remainder of the season.
"We all hope Inzaghi can mature," said Berlusconi to reporters in Rome yesterday.
Results have turned in the coach's favour in recent games, with Milan having defeated Parma last weekend.
