AC Milan legend Cesare Maldini feels Robinho has suffered from not getting a move away in January.

Robinho was booed by Milan fans during the draw with Napoli yesterday.

"Robinho? It seemed he would go to Brazil ...," Maldini told TMW. "Instead, he is still here. He was convinced he'd return home, then due to an economic issue he has not reached an agreement and so remained at Milan.

"He lost his place, now it's up to him to prove again who he is. But the player capable, there is no question. The train will pass."
