Pablo Mari is set to follow Sead Kolasinac out of Arsenal this month.

Arsenal's defensive duo Mari and Kolasinac look set to be the next stars to leave the club this month after Ainsley Maitland-Niles sealed his loan move to Roma.

Kolasinac has reportedly caught the eye of French side Marseille while Mari has been linked with a move to AC Milan.

And the latest reports have suggested that both transfers could now just be days away as Mikel Arteta continues to trim his squad during this month's transfer window.

The Rossoneri have been left short in the central defensive department after losing Simon Kjaer to a knee injury and view Mari as an adequate deputy in his absence.

The Milan hierarchy have drawn up a shortlist of potential defenders that could be brought to the San Siro this month.

Spanish defender Mari is one of those to have reportedly been identified, says Sky Italia.

Arteta could sanction the exits of both and the repercussions would hardly be felt given the scarce amount of playing time both have received this season.
