AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to be missing at least a fortnight.

The Swede collected a thigh injury in defeat to Belgium this week.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Ibrahimovic won't be on the training pitch at Milanello for at least 10-15 days as he lets the strain heal properly.

The 41 year-old sat out of Sweden's 5-0 defeat of Azerbaijan in the Euro 2024 qualifiers on Monday evening, having featured for just over a quarter of an hour of the Belgium game a few days prior.

Sweden coach Janne Andersson had insisted Ibrahimovic's injury "was not serious", though he will now be missing for a fortnight - at least.
