AC Milan hero Billy Costacurta has questioned the hype around the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The retired striker is in talks about a management role with the club.

Costacurta told Sky Italia: "I don't think his return is fundamental to bringing Milan back to the top of Europe.

"I have no idea what he can do.

"When you need someone, it means that the coach has lost some credibility and I don't think that's the case."
