AC Milan director Furlani: We're fully united; Gerry wants to win

AC Milan director Giorgio Furlani says the club is fully "united" during a difficult spell for the team.

Milan broke their recent winless run with victory over PSG in the Champions League.

Furlani said, “Historically we like the Champions League, it is important to do well today so we have a better chance of progress.

“We are united, even more so during the more difficult moments. We are all together, the owners, club, staff and players."

Furlani also stated talks about Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning as a team manager were progressing well.

“Gerry (Cardinale, owner) likes to win, so obviously he is happier when we win, hopefully we can get back to winning," added Furlani.

“Zlatan is a champion who is dear to all Milanisti. We have been talking to him for many months and we'll see what happens. I don't want to discuss roles right now, but he is a great champion, a great person, he really cares about Milan and then we'll see what happens."
