AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer has sung the praises of Denmark teammate Christian Eriksen.
At 34, Kjaer made his 125th appearance for the Danes in last night's Euro qualifying win against Northern Ireland.
And Kjaer says it was Manchester United midfielder Eriksen who made a speech for him before kickoff.
He said, "Coincidentally, it was Christian who said something today. It was very, very special and I was very moved by it.
"I have tried a lot, but with Christian it is something incredibly special, and it has become something that I can always be moved by.
"When it's about Christian, and it becomes something sensitive, I can just feel that he has a special place with me.
"We have been through many things. We started almost at the same time, and now I've just drifted away from him a bit. I'm happy about that, but he'll probably catch up to me."
