AC Milan defender Kalulu: Chelsea penalty very soft

AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu says defeat to Chelsea was tough to take.

Milan lost their Champions League tie 2-0, with Fikayo Tomori sent off early after giving away a penalty, converted by Jorginho.

Kalulu told Mediaset: "Penalty and red? If (Mason) Mount gets to score I don't know if the referee would have whistled and given the red. For me this type of foul is very soft, at this level, in the Champions League, it's a bit difficult to accept.

"We wanted to play another match, with determination and the will to be present in all the duels. After the expulsion it was another match. Now the group is still open, there are two decisive matches that will need to be prepared well to overcome the group.

"Of course we still have the goal of getting through the round. Last year we saw that the qualification is played until the end, until the last game, we must be ready and try to achieve this goal."
