AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli says they'll play Europa League opponents Lille to win on Thursday night.

The Rossoneri are the Serie A table leaders and have won two games from two in Europa League.

"Our goal is to always lead the games. We want to be proactive. We are a young team, but also mature in the way we stay on the pitch," said Pioli.

"We know we've had a lot of games these days. Tomorrow we have an important match against a strong team, we are focused only on continuing our course to the best.

“We are working well together. We started a journey but we are only at the beginning.

“I've always believed in my boys. We try to win everytime, but we're just at the beginning. We are like those who have just started to dig a well to find the water, we want to find the spring but it is still far and it is necessary to work a lot more."
