AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli feels the Scudetto race is over.

Pioli says the title is now Inter Milan's, with the Nerazzurri nine points clear at the top of the Serie A table.

He stated: "I think so, for first place, I think so.

"Inter are on an incredible journey with so many victories. They had a difficult calendar when they had to challenge Fiorentina, Roma and Juventus in the same week. Having overcome those matches so clearly, I think it's over."

Told Inter could celebrate the title for the derby on April 21, Pioli replied sarcastically: "You are phenomenal in making us lose energy and concentration on these things... April 21st is too far away, we still have many objectives and many challenges.

"When we get to the match against Verona, which will be the stop, we will also understand what type of match we can have."
