AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has dismissed criticism of Rafael Leao.
Milan hero Billy Costacurta took aim at Leao after his Champions League performance against Tottenham.
Asked about the criticism, Pioli said today: "We don't care what they say outside Milanello.
"I advise Leao to stay close to those who love him, as happens here at Milanello. He's not depressed, but he's determined. We expect goals from him, but even when he doesn't score, he makes important plays for the team."
Costacurta said last week: "Leao was the great disappointment, he must be decisive in a game like this. We said he's a champion, but in these games, in the past, the champions claimed this title. He has not yet proved that he is a real champion."
