AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli says he feels the confidence of owner Gerry Cardinale.

Cardinale was at San Siro for Saturday's 3-1 win against Frosinone.

Pioli said: "I often hear from him this season, when he comes to Milan we always see each other, he stops by Milanello. Like all owners, he asks for clarification on why we were unable to take advantage of certain opportunities, especially in the Champions League.

"It was a very constructive meeting, he is very present and wants to know all the situations.

"We have to find continuity within ourselves, the sooner we recover certain types of players and the more possibilities we will also have in replacements, but above all we need continuity in the championship to fight until the end of the championship for the top."
