AC Milan chief Paolo Maldini hasn't dropped their interest in Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

Maldini considered Ziyech as an alternative to Charles de Ketelaere before his arrival from Club Brugge.

And Milan are ready to try again in January, says La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Ziyech has managed just the five appearances this season and there's a belief he can be snapped up for less than €20m.

The midfielder is ready to leave Stamford Bridge, having hit out at management on social media before last week's defeat to Arsenal.
