AC Milan chief exec Giorgio Furlani admits they're delighted with their deal for Christian Pulisic.

The USA captain has arrived from Chelsea this summer.

Furlani said: "We signed him because he's an extraordinary player, we needed a player like him and we know he'll make the difference.

"It's important to point him out. That's the main reason we bought him. Obviously, he's one of the best players of the USA national team, the best since he is now one of our players.

"The USA have noticed this purchase: there has been an explosion in numbers, from an e-commerce point of view, 90% of the Milan's shirts sold in America is Pulisic's 11.

"It's a great effect and there will be much more. We are very lucky to have him because he is a great player but he will also help us to be even more relevant in the USA."
