Robinho has announced he's staying with AC Milan.

Santos declared yesterday they'd dropped their pursuit of the Brazilian.

Robinho confirmed last night: "I wish to inform the media and especially the fans I've now officially terminated the negotiations proposed by Santos FC in an attempt to buy me.

"Despite the concessions made by AC Milan - my club and employer - and by myself, Santos FC has informed us they do not have at this time the economic capacity for the necessary payments to make to Milan and my engagement."
