Chelsea youngster David Datro Fofana is at the heart of a court battle this week.

The 21-year-old was signed by the Blues from Molde in Norway for a modest sum.

The Blues paid around £13 million to secure his services in January 2023, but the deal is now contentious.

According to The Telegraph, his first club Abidjan City in Ivory Coast believes he was “stolen" by Molde.

The Norway club signed him as a free agent in 2021, but Abidjan City state that Fofana signed a long-term deal with them.

They believe that around 20 percent of the fee that Molde took from Chelsea should go to them.
