Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood insists no offer has arrived from Middlesbrough for defender Russell Anderson.

"We haven't received any bids from any club for any of our players," Calderwood told the Evening Express. "I'd be very happy if that continues to be the case because I don't want to lose anyone.

"It remains a constant worry that someone might come in for Russell.

"But I'm encouraged by the fact we haven't received any bids for him yet and I'm hopeful he will stay."
