Victor Kristiansen was delighted to make a winning debut for Leicester City on Saturday.
The signing from FC Copenhagen featured in the FA Cup win against Walsall.
"It has been a good first week with the team, and I have settled in well with the group. I'm just happy to be here and I'm happy that I can get on the field and make a difference," said Kristiansen.
"I just have to get on the pitch and be myself. That's why I'm here and that's why I was able to leave FCK at such an early age.
"It was great to get on the pitch. I've been waiting for that since I came over here, because it's been a long time since I've played a football match.
"When I signed, I hoped I would be able to play already today, so it's nice, but it's strange not to wear the FC jersey, but I now think the blue suits me very well."
