Union Berlin coach Fischer: I see weak points in Real Madrid game

Union Berlin coach Urs Fischer says he has spied weaknesses in Real Madrid's game.

Union play their first ever Champions League game tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Fischer said today: "It's a reward for such a wonderful last season. We fought a lot and we deserved it. What to say about Madrid? In the last nine years they have won the Champions League five times. Words are unnecessary.

"It is a very mature team, which does not panic despite some less favourable moments and is capable of getting back into the game. They want to play soccer, but they also try long passes. On an individual level, they are top-notch players.

"It is a great task that we have in front of us."

Fischer also said: “We have analysed many games. The one against Real Sociedad, the one against Celta, the friendly against Juventus... We detected some weak point. And about the quality of the team, I already told you at the beginning.

"Bellingham, Rodrygo is also a player we have to defend. We must defend the turns from him. If he gains speed and plays one for one he is almost unstoppable. In the centre of the field, anyone can make the last pass. We need a compact and well-organised team."
