Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Sao Paulo's Jonathan Calleri.

According to a report from Yahoo! Brasil, Calleri's father Guillermo has reportedly told Sao Paulo that his son has struck a verbal agreement with Spurs and will join the North London club this summer.

It is believed that Argentine striker Calleri, who surprisingly joined Sao Paulo from Boca Juniors in January, is waiting until after the Copa Libertadores before making the move to the Premier League.

The report says Guillermo Calleri does not know the price of the transfer but is confident the 22-year-old will end up at White Hart Lane in August.
