New York Red Bulls have partnered with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) to expand educational opportunities in the New Jersey region, naming the university as their official education partner, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The agreement will see Red Bulls players offered the opportunity to continue their education while playing professionally, and SNHU students will be able to have access to internship opportunities with the soccer club.

The two organisations will also create community programmes to offer further educational opportunities, including an SNHU scholarship programme.

"We are thrilled to have Southern New Hampshire University on board as our official education partner," Red Bulls General Manager Marc de Grandpre said.

"As a proud alumnus of the school, I know it provides a first-class experience for students and that it is the same experience we strive to deliver to our devoted fans in the community.
