Former Scotland attacker James McFadden hailed Amad's debut for Rangers in Saturday's draw with Ross County.
The Manchester United midfielder scored on his loan debut.
“I like the look of him," McFadden told Sky Sports.
“He gets in the right place, he makes a good run for his goal which is an easy finish for him.
“But you can see him telling players where he wants the ball, and when you're playing as a wide man, he looks like he wants to get on the ball, he wants to take players on.
“He recognises 'if I get in at the back post, I get a tap-in', and he just goes in at pace. He's onside, but it's the run and the desire to get in at the back post.
“I thought he showed glimpses he could be a really good player for Rangers."
