Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is set for a playing return this week.

The Daily Mail says Reds boss Brendan Rodgers could welcome back midfielder Lucas - out for three months with a ruptured thigh - into his squad on Thursday night for the Europa League game against Young Boys Berne.

Rodgers admits he sees the Brazilian as a key part of his midfield.
