VfB Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic is on Liverpool's radar.

Calciomercato.com says the left-sided midfielder is high on Reds boss Jurgen Klopp's shopping list ahead of the January market.

The 23 year-old Serbia international is tied to VfB until 2019, having joined last year from FC Groningen.

Kostic came close to joining Schalke last summer, but rejected the move over concerns he wouldn't get a regular game.

Klopp has kept tabs on his progress this season and is convinced Kostic has the game to thrive in the Premier League.
