Leicester City have extended the contract of midfielder Callum Wright another 12 months.
The former Blackburn Rovers youngster was due to be out of contract this summer, but City have triggered their option to extend his deal to 2023.
It comes amid reports linking Wright to Luton Town, Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle after an impressive two seasons on loan at Cheltenham Town.
Wright will get opportunities to impress with City in pre-season before a decision is made on whether to sell the central midfielder or loan him out for a third consecutive season.
