Fabian Castillo has been named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 7 of the 2015 season.
The Colombian winger scored a match-winning brace for FC Dallas as they outlasted Toronto FC to win 3-2 at home on the weekend.
Castillo opened the scoring for FCD inside 30 seconds, notching the fastest goal in club history, before adding a second in the 10th minute with a lovely curling effort.
Blas Perez added a third for Dallas in the 27th minute before Sebastian Giovinco netted twice late for Toronto but the damage had already been done.
Castillo, who now has three goals so far this term, is the first Dallas player to win the award this season.
