Former Manchester United youth star Ravel Morrison is on the verge of losing his place at DC United.
Morrison was brought to the MLS club by United legend and DC manager Wayne Rooney.
However, Steven Goff of The Washington Post states that Morrison is not in DC United's plans at present.
Morrison is “not in D.C. United's plan, won't be [the] MLS roster this season, [and is] ineligible to play," tweeted Goff.
“[He] remains on payroll with guaranteed deal, can continue to train. What's next? Trade, transfer or mutual termination of contract. #dcu"
In another tweet, he stated: “"With [Martin] Rodriguez out with ACL injury and Morrison not rostered, DCU has two international slots available. MLS transfer window closes April 24, reopens July 5."
