Chelsea have kicked off their preseason with victory in Perth, Australia.
The Blues defeated local outfit Perth Glory 1-0 at Optus stadium on Monday.
Pedro provided the only goal of the game after five minutes when he clipped home from the impressive Callum Hudson-Odoi's cross.
Chelsea had further chances with Ross Barkley in particular going close a couple of times, but couldn't add a second.
New manager Maurizio Sarri's side appeared comfortable in his 4-3-3 system, with Jorginho seeing action for the first time since his arrival from Napoli.
It was a sell-out at the 60,000-seater which broke the stadium's record.
