Borussia Monchengladbach chief Roland Virkus has announced Marcus Thuram will leave at season's end.
The France striker comes off contract in June and has the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid all keen.
Virkus told Sport1: "We have to accept that there are bigger clubs than us where Marcus can go.
"The fact that players leave us for free is not a good situation, it is impossible to say otherwise."
Thuram, 25, snubbed a move in January to Chelsea. The Blues pushed hard for his signing but he finally chose to stay at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
