Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer has explained the absence of on-loan Manchester United midfielder Dylan Levitt.

Levitt missed the game this week through illness, but Bowyer insists he hasn't done anything else wrong.

He explained why Levitt hasn't played for Charlton in over a month.

"Dylan hasn't done anything wrong," Bowyer said.

"He hasn't had as many minutes as he'd have liked or we'd have liked him to have, but the middle of the park is probably our strongest area."
