Brighton have tabled a new bid for Werder Bremen midfielder Thomas Delaney.
The Denmark international saw a January attempt by Brighton turned down, but the Seagulls are now trying again.
Weser-Kurier says Brighton have made an opening bid - though it falls short of Werder's €20m valuation.
Tied to Werder until 2021, Delaney stated on Sunday he couldn't rule out leaving this summer.
And Werder chief Frank Baumann said last night: "It's all right and understandable when he says that he wants to change. But only for a top offer and when the clubs agree."
