Blackpool boss Mick McCarthy has faith in Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino.
The veteran coach has given his backing to on loan star Patino, despite a recent red card.
The youngster was sent off on Wednesday night in the Championship as Blackpool lost to Swansea.
“I'm not going to be too harsh on Charlie," McCarthy told The Athletic.
“He's a young lad and he was just a bit rash, but he was trying to win the ball."
“He has a right go at it, Charlie," McCarthy stated.
“He's a young man and sometimes he doesn't always get it right. He might press and get played past, but in the first half, he lost it in front of us about 20 yards into their half and won it back in the 18-yard box at the other side of the pitch.
“I said, 'If you can do that, you'll do for me'."
