Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was pleased with their 4-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna.
Paulinho and Luis Suarez both scored braces on Sunday night.
Valverde admits scoring midway through the first-half was key to the win: "Every time you open the game it's always easier, if we connect with our strikers it's easier to score."
On Paulinho, he said: "Paulinho is a player who has a good relationship with the goal, he supports his teammates a lot and always has faith when coming in. In his case he always accompanies the play."
On the El Clasico against Real Madrid, Valverde continued: "I do not think a victory will end the league, Atlético is six points away, what we have clear is that it is a long competition, nobody will finish the league at this point."
And on a guard of honour for the world champions, he concluded: "We just left here, we have not even thought about it, a little strange, right?"
