Arsenal are weighing up re-signing Ismael Bennacer from Empoli.

Le 10 Sport says the Gunners have the option of a buy-back clause, but they face a battle on their hands with Napoli's interest understood to be firm.

Bennacer helped fire the Italian side to promotion from Serie B last term and has played 30 times in Serie A this season.

The Algerian's form has caught the eye of Napoli, and reports in his native country suggest Arsenal are interested in taking the 21-year-old back to the Emirates.

Bennacer, who has seven senior caps for his country, has clocked up four assists in Serie A so far this term.
