Arsenal and Manchester United target Jonathan David has set his sights on a Bundesliga move this summer.
The Canadian star wants to join a top team to further his career.
While he is wanted by clubs in England, a report in Belgian newspaper HLN suggests that David is more interested in the Bundesliga.
He believes that clubs such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach offer him a better chance of first team football and career progression.
The problem is that Genk want £27 to 31 million for the star, which may be out of the price range for most German teams.
That would give hope to the Premier League teams that want the 20-year-old.
However, he may opt to stay at Genk for another season until a Bundesliga club comes with the right offer to secure his signature.
