Arsenal have confirmed Hector Bellerin will miss Wednesday night's League Cup meeting with Blackpool.

The fullback was replaced at half-time of Sunday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

The club's website confirmed Bellerin is also in doubt for Saturday's important meeting with Liverpool at the Emirates.

Unai Emery could persist with Granit Xhaka at left-back as Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac are waiting for a fitness test to see if they can face Blackpool.
